Open Studios is in full swing! The beautiful day is bringing the public out to enjoy the sunshine. Come spend time with us at both the Harvard General Store and the many private studios you can find on our map at https://openartstudios.org/. Artists are present until 4p! 📣

Please join us to support our local artists in our Eighth Annual “Open Studio” weekend on October 4 (10-4) and October 5 (12-4). We are opening our studios, setting up tables and tents to sell our artwork, and sharing our creativity with our community!

JILL ADAMY STUDIO, 361 OLD LITTLETON RD., HARVARD
"As a self-taught mixed media and watercolor artist, Jill enjoys trying new techniques, supplies and just plain making vibrant and artful pieces. In this day and age where negativity and media bombard us from every angle of our lives, Jill has chosen to make a conscious effort to try and keep everything around me feeling positive, bright and cheerful. She is a ""glass-half-full"" kinda girl! Jill loves flowers, nature, butterflies, birds, whimsical creatures and have a total obsession with owls. You'll probably notice this in a lot of her art.

Mixed media, acrylics and watercolors allows Jill to create art pieces that reflect positivity, love, hope, peace and joy. It's important to always look at the bright side of life because there's really so much beauty that surrounds us every day! Jill loves being able to create art using a variety of materials and items such as watercolor, acrylic, paper, marker, pencils, and all the other fun supplies in her art studio, where she creates as well as teaches in-studio classes to all levels of artists.

EMILY HARRIS STUDIO, 259 OLD LITTLETON RD., HARVARD
Emily paints primarily in acrylic and oil, drawing inspiration from her imagination and nature. Her work is often semi-abstract, sometimes populated by animals whose origins are unknown; they usually have control over her compositions.

OLD FROG POND FARM, 38 ELDRIDGE RD, HARVARD
Linda Hoffman has been part of the New England artist community since the early 1980s. Her work includes indoor and outdoor sculpture, public installations, and private commissions. Her public sculptures are installed in the Massachusetts towns of Groton, Harvard, Wellesley, Acton, and Stow; at the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury, at the Fuller Museum in Brockton, in Mt. Tremper, NY and Littleton, NH. Her artist books are in museums across the country. She explores themes of climate change, habitat loss, migration, isolation, and spiritual connection. Hoffman is a Zen Buddhist and leads morning meditation in her studio. Her memoir, The Artist and the Orchard was published 2021. Her new book, Overheard in the Orchard, 2025, is a series of conversations between a Golden Delicious tree and the orchardist. She is the curator of Old Frog Pond Farm’s annual outdoor sculpture exhibit opening on September, 7, 2025 where she will exhibit The Ox-Herding Series — a Zen teaching, in bronze sculptures and stones installed along a forest path.
