A fresh coat of paint usually signals a new beginning.
It can also mean goodbye.
So every time I paint the stage for the new Season, I am excited to say “Hello!” to the next chapter!
But, I always remember to say goodbye too.
Goodbye to the Woods.
Goodbye to the North Pole and NYC.
Good by to a tiny Annex in Amsterdam.
Goodbye to Bomont.
Goodbye to the Great Barrier Reef.
Goodbye to the railroad station on the way to Hadestown.
