Introducing High Cotton Writers Round

Hosted by Lara Foster, High Cotton Writers Round is a welcoming night for songwriters, storytellers, and music lovers. In the tradition of a Nashville-style writers round, artists will share songs and the stories behind them in an intimate listening-room atmosphere.

Original music is encouraged(but not required) because we want to hear your stories through music. Whether it’s a song written last week or one you’ve carried for years, this is a place to share it. The format is simple: great songs and stories, and a lightly amplified stage that keeps the focus on the writer and the music. All genres and experience levels are welcome. Come listen, play, and be part of a community built around authentic songwriting and meaningful connections.

We can hardly wait for this show tomorrow night. His talent is next level but what you will walk away remembering more than anything is how he makes you feel with his energy and lyrics. He is one of those people that feels like an old friend and his music is the soundtrack to that good feeling.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or simply a fan of great live music, our High Cotton Blues Jam is your chance to be part of something special.

Bring your instrument or your voice (or just grab a great seat) and enjoy an evening where local and regional musicians come together to create music on the spot; all beautifully guided by the incredible, Big C. If you have been here you know, it’s a magical thing to witness. New players are always encouraged and audiences get a front-row seat to that very specific magic that happens when talented musicians meet for the first time in a song.

SUMMER SUPRISE

He really doesn't need an introduction here at High Cotton or at all because is truly one of the music greats. We are so excited to announce that we were able to have the Randall Bramblett Band swing through this summer, FULL BAND (and yes, that includes Nick Johnson who has been touring with Widespread Panic so we are getting all the bells and whistles), to grace the stage here at High Cotton. If you aren't familiar here is a run down on what folks have to say about him:
