This week on Music from High Cotton: Sam Morrow has carved out a sound that exists somewhere outside of genre and geography. It’s a mix of roadhouse rock & roll, bluesy R&B, and country-fried funky-tonk. He calls it “southern boogie” and you can enjoy an electric hour with Sam and his band, recorded live on the stage of Cotton Music Hall, Thursday night at 9 on WUGA 91.7 and 94.5 FM. Live stream at wuga.org.
