While it is your right to fly your flag, it is our right to “hold up a mirror” and show you exactly how you look to the rest of the sane world. It wasn’t that long ago that a lone gunman, a white supremacist, racist, confederate flag loving man walked into a church in Charleston killing 9 innocent people of color. Your flag very well may mean something special to you about the heritage of our stat

e, but it is also the banner flag some of the vilest and most disgusting people that could walk this earth. The flag combined with the Southern Cross, an almost identical replica of the iron cross are both symbols of hatred and bigotry and we don’t want that tied with our beautiful little city.
