Our latest additions: These are several of the Buenos Aires tetras recently joining the team. They will swim around a bit, then all line up on this one part of the tank, enjoying the current from the filtration system.

It seems one of our tanks caught the ChiCom Virus and we suffered a complete die-off of the fish inside. We've taken steps to sanitize the tank and have begun the process of cycling once again.

We hope to be repopulated in a couple months.

Little shake-up at the aquarium last night. Our devil cichlid, Neal, was moved to his own tank. Consider it solitary confinement. Neal does not play well with others (in fact, he murders them) so into the 36-gallon tank he goes to serve out the remainder of his life sentence.

The other fish were all successfully transferred into the big tank (75 gallon) and are doing well. Even old Jack, our Jack Dempsey cichlid, who has been repeatedly attacked by Neal in the past, seems to be doing better.
