Rough Edges Art Production has received a grant from the small funds program at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to help kick start The Sunflower Project which will merge art and science to look at phytoremediation and its powers to remedy toxins in the environment. The project grew out of visual artist Susan Hackett's MFA thesis The Shrine to Helianthus.
