Meet the Makers! Nextdoor neighbors in Canton edition;

Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of Donna Namnoum ceramic sculpture! Donna has worked with clay her entire adult life. Somewhat recently retired from teaching ceramics (and serving as a high school administrator), she’s plunged full-time into her world of imagination. This is the first time Donna has invited the public to her home studio. There is so much to say about her curious, colorful and organic(?) work but we will let you find your own words and awe. A truly unique artist on the tour!

Most Potters in CT are very familiar with the work of Tim Scull who has been making pottery for over 30 years. They say Tim is one of our best wheel-throwing teachers and he hosts all sorts of firings at his community studio, Canton Clayworks. Tim’s work is exquisite and he has a lot to show and tell you about it! Tim has gone deep in his exploration of firing techniques and has built several different kinds of kilns. You are in for a real learning experience when you visit this studio.
