ATTENTION STOCK CAR TEAMS AND FANS
Unfortunately, the 2026 date just hasn’t worked out for us to have the Stock Car division as part of Nightmare on Bowie Street.
When Tim and I worked on the schedule for the Nightmare, we were not aware that other tracks would also be racing this class on the same date. At our event in May, we only had three cars attend, and I still paid the entire advertised purse.
I know many people will be disappointed that the Stock Cars will not be part of Nightmare on Bowie Street this year. I have held off on making this announcement because, even after adding the Demo Derby, my heart kept telling me to still try and make it work. However, at this point, it is simply not the right decision.
If we can get the schedules to align better next year, I would be more than happy to add the Stock Cars back to the event.
That being said, we still have a HUGE night planned with:
• Super Troopers
• Midwest Compact Touring Series
• 100-Lap Enduro
• Demo Derby
I truly believe we will still have over 100 cars competing at Nightmare on Bowie Street, and it is going to be an incredible night of racing and entertainment!
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support, and we hope to see the Stock Cars back on the schedule in the future.
