- 101st Airborne marching band will kick off events!

The Hartford merchants are excited to kickoff their new Christmas festival, complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus! The Festival will be November 17th and vendors can reserve their spot with a refundable reservation fee. Questions can be directed to Kathy Allen at Images Day Spa in Hartford.

ANNOUNCEMENT -- the 2018 Hartford Harvest Festival is postponed to October 2019. NOTE - THE PAGEANT IS NOT CANCELED.

Last week, the city was contacted by Hartford merchants who had already planned and began organizing and scheduling a Christmas Festival for November 17th. They came to the city for support and assistance for their event, but with such a short turnaround between festivals it was going to be a stretch to get the necessary manpower to pull off both. Hartford always tries to support its local residents and merchants and so it was decided this year's Harvest Festival would be postponed until next year to help support the merchant's event. The committee has tried contacting all vendors and participants personally regarding this decision, but if you have not yet been contacted then please call City Hall at 270-298-3612.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at the Christmas festival on November 17th and again next year at the Harvest Festival!

Get ready to run (or walk)! The Harvest Festival 5k is October 6 at 8am. Sign up by Sept. 7th for the early bird special of $15. Sept. 8th-Oct 5th fee is $20 and Race Day is $25.

The Hartford Christmas Parade will be held December 2nd at 6pm! We're welcoming all floats and entries in celebration of the holidays.

Lineup will be at the Render Center Alternative School (old Wayland) on Render Street.

All interested participants who want to be in the parade should contact Hartford City Hall at 270-298-3612 ext. 3 no later than November 30th so you can be entered and assigned a lineup position.
