A few years ago I got into painting rocks for fun with my daughter. Then one day I came across painting Mandala Stones. I got captivated by this beautiful art. One day my husband said to me why don’t YOU paint?? I was like me??? No way that looks to complicated and so perfect. He went ahead and bought my very first set of tools that I still use until today. 🩷 he says he created a rock monster 😁
So I decided to give it a try and I painted my very first rock (the pink rock in this picture). I was not so excited with the result looking at those other artists making such beautiful pieces. 😭 However, the feeling of painting was so peaceful and so fulfilling that I went ahead and tried it again and again and again. 💪I fell in love with the beautiful art because of the peace it brings to my soul.
I progressively got better over time. I learned the difference between paints, tools, rocks. I even started making my own rocks. I got molds and different mixtures- so many trial and errors. All the fails led to an improvement 🩷
I pushed myself to my very first craft fair and I remember being so nervous. I got the support of my brother who is a graphic designer and helped with my marketing and dealt with my crazy requests 🤪. My husband was there to help set up my tables. My mom was wonderful, she came and got 2 tulips to decorate my tables 🌷
My daughter sat with me for almost the entire event. It was a success. I had my family behind me.
Today when I look back at my very first rock compared to my last mandala stone (also in this picture) I feel so accomplished and happy that I didn’t give up.
My heart is full when I see my pieces loved and gifted. My pieces are all across the US and internationally all the way from Chile to Germany.
So when you get one of my Mandala pieces, you are taking part of my journey. The result of hours of trial and errors, hours of research, all my learnings, hours of practice, moments of success. For that, I am so grateful as my heart gets poured into this art 🩷
I am gifting you my SAQINA🩷
