This idea of painting seashells and rocks started as rocks that were shared across cities, states, and the country. We decided to make it our own by adding seashells. They make a great canvas. As my children and I travel a couple times of year and we collected seashells. Meanwhile, the rock collecting started with my daughter, Kadence, she has always had a fascination we rock collecting. Gifted a

bag of decorative rocks at her 3rd brithday, she preferred to play with them over opening other gifts at her birhtday party. Her daddy then brought her rocks from other countries on deployment such as Kuwait and Iraq, while her peepaw brought her colored rocks from South Dakota when visiting the Native American Lakota tribes, and my parents traveled the US bringing her rocks from many states like Arizona, Colorado and Texas. We recently decided to paint the seashells collected from the South West coast of florida's beaches along with rocks from our sweet little Mercer County area. Now these treasures are shared with many children and adults who love the designs and playfulness of the geo search. We hope our KC seashells & rocks bring you a smile too.
