A Heartfelt Message to Our Legacy Dance Family
Dear Legacy Dance Teachers, Students, and Families,
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share that Legacy Dance Studio will be closing its doors as of August 17, 2026.
This is not a decision that was made quickly or easily. There have been many conversations, many prayers, and many emotions surrounding this decision. Legacy has been so much more than a dance studio, and saying goodbye to something that has meant so much to so many is incredibly difficult.
Over the years, these studio walls have held so much more than dance classes. They have held first dance steps, hard-earned accomplishments, laughter, friendships, encouragement, growing confidence, and moments we will never forget.
We have watched tiny dancers walk through our doors for the first time and grow into beautiful, confident young people. We have watched friendships form between dancers and between families. We have seen teachers pour their hearts, time, patience, and talents into their students. Every person who has been part of Legacy has helped make it what it is.
To our teachers: Thank you. Thank you for loving these dancers, believing in them, challenging them, encouraging them, and sharing your gift with them. The impact you have made reaches far beyond the steps you taught in the classroom.
To our students: Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. We hope you always remember that dance is about so much more than perfect technique or performing on a stage. We hope you carry with you the confidence, perseverance, friendships, and joy you found here. Keep dancing, keep growing, and never be afraid to step onto a new stage.
To our families: Thank you for trusting Legacy with your children. Thank you for the drives to class, the dance shoes, the costumes, and the countless ways you supported both your dancers and our studio. Your support throughout the years has meant more than we could ever adequately put into words.
While closing the studio is painful, the end of Legacy Dance Studio does not erase the legacy that has been created here. That legacy lives on in every dancer, teacher, family, friendship, lesson, and memory that came through these doors.
We know this news may bring sadness, disappointment, and many questions. We understand those feelings, and we share in them. Please know that this decision was made only after much thought and consideration.
There simply aren't enough words to adequately say thank you for the years of love and support you have given Legacy Dance Studio.
It has been an honor to teach your children, cheer them on, watch them grow, and be a small part of their stories.
Though this chapter is coming to an end, we will forever be grateful for the story we wrote together.

Thank you for growing with us.
Thank you for believing in Legacy.
And most of all, thank you for being part of our Legacy family.
