📚 Strategy #01: Be Thoughtful About Your First Two Cards

When setting up your board, you can turn over any two cards you want. Don’t stress over it—we certainly don’t want anyone spending five minutes analyzing their opening move! 😄

But there is one thing worth keeping in mind:
Turning over two cards in the same column can create challenges later in the round.

Why?

🎯 It may make it harder to start a new set.
🎯 It can slow down your ability to complete a set and clear a column.
🎯 It may leave you with cards in the same column that don’t work together strategically.
A little thought at the beginning can save you points at the end.

The best players aren’t necessarily the luckiest players—they’re the players who make small strategic decisions throughout the game.

🌟 KooseKort Superfan Spotlight: Lindy & Lorelei 🌟

One of the greatest joys of creating KooseKort has been the wonderful people we’ve met along the way. Today, we’re excited to share the story of two very special KooseKortians—Lindy and Lorelei.

We first met Lindy and Lorelei on a recent cruise, where they eagerly learned our new game. What started as a casual introduction quickly turned into multiple meetups throughout the voyage as we gathered around the table to teach, play, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.

Not only did they catch on quickly, but their enthusiasm for KooseKort was contagious. Every time we played together, they brought energy, encouragement, and a genuine love for the game that made our experience even more memorable.

When it came time to say goodbye, we wanted to thank them for their friendship and support. So we gifted them something very special:

🎁 The very first KooseKort game box.

Little did we know that the story was only beginning.

After returning home, Lindy wasted no time introducing KooseKort to her friends. Before long, game nights were being planned, laughter was filling the room, and new KooseKortians were being created. Today, Lindy and her friends meet regularly to play, continuing the spirit of connection and togetherness that inspired the game in the first place.

Stories like this mean the world to us.

As game creators, we spent 2 years developing rules, testing cards, and refining gameplay. But seeing people embrace the game, share it with others, and build friendships around it—that’s the real reward.

Lindy and Lorelei, thank you for being KooseKort’s very first superfans. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to share the game with others embody everything we hoped KooseKort would become.
