Mouth Drawings by Bruce Lynn Dellinger I am a self taught mouth artist. I have been drawing for over 20 years now. I draw scenes of nature and country living. By using naturalistic scenes.

Bruce Lynn Dellinger, a self-taught artist, has been successfully drawing for years. As a result of a farming accident in 1981 that left him a C5-C6 quadriplegic, he discovered that he could draw and write by manipulating pens and pencils with his teeth. This eventually led Bruce to the realization of how creating works of art can be enjoyable and therapeutic. Bruce has worked with several types o

f mediums but has found that using a no. 2 graphite pencil and working in black and white is representative of his personal character and style. The pencil allows for ease of use and gives the drawing an old-fashioned appearance and quality. For more detail, Bruce utilizes as much positive space as possible. This simple technique adds fullness while creating focus and unity. Bruce feels that the finished composition is a reflection of his mood and adaptability to life.

Here is my interview from National Wild Turkey Federation's (NWTF) Turkey Country Magazine. I was interviewed about my art and hunting by Bruce Ingram. Bruce did an incredible job. If you are not a member of the NWTF, I suggest that you become a member; they give a wide variety of stories about hunters with disabilities as well as women in the outdoors, kids programs (JAKES) etc.

I am proud to be a featured artist in their magazine. If you can catch a copy, try to find one.

The 2014 Carlisle Sports and Outdoor show is open at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

Carlisle events is putting on its second annual Sports and Outdoors Show. In the crowd, you’ll find a man who never meant to be a wildlife artist, but he’s now getting a lot of attention.
