Today two people said amendment #28 should be about climate and the environment. Several were motivated by the recent Dobbs decision. Voting rights continue to be top of mind. One person from Los Angeles wanted to emphasize that LA is not all "blue." Another would like to see "a fully funded right to the truth." Many commented that the amendments reflect snapshots in history; one calling the third amendment "adorable." I say thank you to Meetinghouse Arts Freeport for hosting me, and to everyone who stopped by to chat -- both on camera and off.
