We’re Christina and Karen, co-founders of Esther’s Porch.

A cozy creative studio filled with art, mystery, workshops, parties, and nostalgic experiences for kids, teens, and families. What started as a space for cozy, story-driven learning has grown into something bigger:

Playschool: A 3-hour, play-based preschool program where children ages 3–5 learn through stories, movement, and hands-on exploration. Even

ts, Workshops, and Camps: A variety of opportunities for all ages to learn, create, and connect. From seasonal clubs and pop-up workshops to family events and summer camps for kids and teens, these experiences are designed to spark curiosity, build community, and encourage every participant to explore new interests. Printable Resources: Downloadable guides, dramatic play kits, and creative activities that extend the Porch experience into your home and classroom. At Esther’s Porch, we believe learning should feel like storytelling, where kids live the adventure, not just read about it. Every program, printable, and event is intentionally designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and belonging. Christina is our heart for the classroom — with 20+ years in early childhood education, trauma-informed care, and play-based curriculum. She knows how to create spaces where kids thrive. Karen is our strategist and creator — blending 20+ years in business analysis and project management with digital design and marketing to bring the Porch to life online and in person. Together, we’re moms, educators, and community builders who believe every child deserves a space to feel safe, inspired, and empowered. Whether you’re joining us for Playschool, taking part in a workshop, signing up for a camp, or downloading a resource to use at home, you’re part of the story. Pull up a chair — there’s always room for you on the Porch.

What a whirlwind these first seven weeks at Esther’s Porch have been! 💛

We opened our doors on July 10th, and somehow we’ve already packed SO much into this little studio…

And now… HELLO SEPTEMBER! 🍁

The lineup is pretty impressive:

And did I mention the “BER” months are finally here?!

If you ask me my favorite season, I’m probably going to tell you the BER months. 😂🍂🎃🎄 Fall + winter = my absolute favorite time of year.

Right now my to-do list is a mile long… redesigning the studio, decorating for fall, getting the new DIYs ready and dreaming up everything I want to bring to the Porch over the next few months.

🎨 CLUBS ARE STARTING AT ESTHER’S PORCH! 🎨

September is our very first month of Creative Clubs, and I’m SO excited to finally get these started!

These clubs aren’t about being “good at art.” They’re about trying new things, creating with your hands, and meeting people.

Each month we’ll explore different projects, materials and creative activities — and for September, we’re kicking things off with CLAY! 🙌

✨ Homeschool Club – Wednesdays 10–12
✨ After School Club – Wednesdays 4–6
✨ Senior Club – Thursdays 10–12
✨ Teen Club – Thursdays 4–6

Come every week or join us when an activity catches your eye!

No experience needed. No pressure to make it perfect.
Just come create, hang out and enjoy the studio. ❤️
