THE PEARLS OF ASURA is a 21+, anime-inspired, steampunk LARP game by Noah Hersom and Brandin Turner. Players are from an alternate Earth; a Victorian-Edo era, steampunk world now under the thumb of an oppressive, Orwellian government. It seems turning a ghost village into a settlement is the task at hand. Gleefully, Oshio turns his attention to exploration of this land and expansion of your group’s territory in the name of the Empire. A new world to conquer in the name of the God-empress now lays before you all. However, centuries of caste segregation and forced labor under a watchful monarchy have left a great many personal chasms to bridge. This world, Asura, is populated by strange clans of human-like creatures. These clans have their own goals, their own people to feed, their own desires for greatness. Join the band of survivors in the contest for control for Asura and its riches. Help to unite a ragtag band of survivors or die at the hands of a quickly growing list of Asurian peoples that find your Japanian technology extremely intriguing.
