Have you heard of the Cold River Radio Show? This is a wonderful variety concert, hosted by Jonathan Sarty, now in its 14th season. I have been running the sound and recording the show since its inception, but for the first time, on this Sunday evening, July 28th, I will have the pleasure of joining the phenomenal house band on one tune. I'm leaving it a surprise, but the tune will be a tribute to a guitarist who influenced me significantly in my youth. Now up to 16 channels of pristine Millennia preamps (in addition to the 16 in the AVID C|24 console). You have to hear drums, vocals and our grand piano tracked through these guys. Purity!

It is with a broken heart that I am announcing the sudden passing today of my lifelong dear friend, previous bandmate and co-founder of Baked Beans Recording, Roby Baker. May God bless and keep his lovely wife, Diane, and their children.

Two upcoming FREE gigs for my band, Unknown Hour:

Saturday evening, 6:30 to 8:30, November 16th at Holy Grounds Coffee House in Portland. The address is 1047 Congress St. Portland, ME 04012
They offer reasonably priced food, desserts, coffee, soft drinks, etc. We promise to not be so loud this time around! :-)

The 2nd event will be Saturday, November 23rd, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Victory Christian Church, 1680 Federal Rd., Livermore, Maine. We will be sharing the stage with another very talented Christian rock band, Channels of Blessings. This venue seats a lot of people and so bring all your friends!

The most notable aspect of this pic is the new Focal SM9 speaker pair I'm working with. Gone are the trusty JBLs that served me well for the last 11 years. the SM9s are flat from 30 - 40K Hz and simply the best sounding and most accurate speakers I've ever used. (The 5.1 JBL LSR 4300 series surround system is for sale at a great price).

Summer’s Last Hurrah!

This Saturday, September 21, 2019 the weather is going to be perfect for our concert. Forecast is for a cloudless sky and 82 degrees!

Our Christian rock band, Unknown Hour, is playing from about 2-4pm at the 12th annual Beast Feast. This is a FREE Christian outreach event. There is a huge barbecue (also FREE) of every type of meat you can imagine. Definitely family friendly! Food is served at 5pm.
