We are very excited for our 2026 Gala as well as our online auction! The online auction will go live next week, and you can expect to see a ton of incredible gift baskets and items including this amazing Fab Four themed acoustic guitar.

Signed by the cast and crew of "Come Together - A Celebration of the Beatles" and painted by the incredible Heather Jannetta, this guitar would make a wonderful wall piece for musicians and music appreciators alike!

What a privilege it has been to share this landmark play with our community.

This company has brought incredible humor, vulnerability, honesty, heart, and humanity to every performance. Together, they honored an important piece of theatre history and LGBTQ history while creating something vibrant, moving, and deeply alive.

Congratulations on a beautiful run. We are so proud of all of you and grateful for the artistry, dedication, and care you brought to this production.

Today, we at Open Stage are saddened to learn of the passing of Aaron Bomar.

Aaron's journey with Open Stage began not on our stage, but in our classrooms. As a student of Anne Alsedek in the Open Stage Studio/School, now The Alsedek Theatre School, Aaron honed his skills as an actor and began a relationship with Open Stage that would continue for many years.

Over the seasons, Aaron graced our stage in many productions including Jitney, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, Driving Miss Daisy, Fences, Stories From Home: Dauphin County, Two Trains Running, Father Comes Home From the Wars, and Akeelah and the Bee.

A remarkable actor, a generous collaborator, and a friend to so many in our creative community, Aaron was a beloved member of Open Stage's family. Whether in rehearsal, on stage, in the audience, or simply in conversation, he brought warmth, humor, intelligence, and humanity to every room he entered.

Aaron's contributions to Open Stage were significant, and his friendship meant even more. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and the stories we told together.
