24 hours. No sleep. Pure adrenaline. 🌵🎬

We’re still coming down from the high of the Theatre Harrisburg 24-Hour Play Festival. There’s something about a "blank page to stage" deadline that really speaks to the Cool It Cowboy soul.

From the late night rehearsals to the final curtain call, it was an absolute blast seeing the community come together to create something out of nothing. Big hats off to the actors, directors, and playwrights who rode along with us. 🤠✨

The west wasn't won in a day, but these plays were. 🏁

Interested in applying for Theatre Harrisburg's 24 Hour Play Festival? Listen to Alexandra Johnson's personal testimony of her experience last year as a 24 Hour Director and Festival Coordinator!

Theatre Harrisburg is looking for Playwrights, Directors, and Actors (18+) to join them for a whirlwind of creativity. Participants will be chosen by randomized lottery, so everyone has a shot at the madness!

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
✍️ Playwrights: Saturday, March 14 (2 PM – 7 PM)
🎬 Directors: Saturday (6 PM – 10 PM) & Sunday (7 AM – 4 PM)
🎭 Actors: Saturday (7 PM – 10 PM) & Sunday (7 AM – 4 PM)

IMPORTANT DATES
🗓️ Deadline to Apply: March 6th
📣 Cast/Crew Announced: March 9th
🎬 The Event: March 14th (Writing/Rehearsals 2 PM) – March 15th (Performance at 2 PM)

WHY JOIN?
For a $10 registration fee, you get a spot in the festival, snacks, and energy drinks for the Saturday lock-in, plus breakfast on Sunday morning. It’s the ultimate community theatre bonding experience!
