Meet the judges for the 2026 Youth Showmanship Contest at the All-American Dairy Show. 💫

Lastly, we have Jason Zimmerman of New Holland, PA who will serve as the judge for the Senior Showmanship Contest.

Jason Zimmerman grew up leasing and showing Holsteins from his grandparents and uncle, Artie Jay Farm in Dickerson, Maryland. This led to fitting cattle along the east coast and the opportunity to work with All Americans of each breed. Jason has judged regional, state and national shows including serving as the associate judge for the Eastern Fall National Holstein show in 2025 and the Senior showmanship official at World Dairy Expo. He breeds and owns cattle with his family and resides in New Holland, PA where he works as a Dairy Nutrition Consultant with Holtz Nelson Consulting.

Applications are due Tuesday, September 1st. The award will be presented during the Premier National Junior Show on Monday, September 14th.

Just a few more days until the Drive to Excellence, Caleb McGee Memorial Award is due! Applications are due to the office by September 1.

Caleb McGee was a Pennsylvania Junior Holstein member who was lost too soon in early 2020. Not only was Caleb a passionate dairy enthusiast and dedicated showman, he was also a talented singer and active community member. In 2022, the “Drive to Excellence, Caleb McGee Memorial Award” was started to honor the legacy of Caleb. The recipient of this award is recognized at the Premier National Junior Show where they receive a plaque and $750 cash award. We hope to continue to honor Calebs legacy for many years and recognize deserving junior members.

The application is available on the PA Holstein website under the Junior section.

Meet the judges for the 2026 Youth Showmanship Contest at the All-American Dairy Show. 💫

Next up, we have Cassie Menendez of Edmeston, NY who will place the Intermediate division of the Showmanship Contest.

Menedez currently resides in Edmeston, NY where she and her family breed and develop a small herd of registered Holsteins and Jerseys. Cassie attended SUNY Cobleskill where she was a member of the dairy cattle judging team that placed first at the All-American, World Dairy Expo, and the NAILE. Cassie has had the privilege to work for many esteemed herds, helping to prepare cattle at shows across the United States over the years.

She has judged numerous county and regional shows across New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and New England, including the Northeast National Junior Holstein and Jersey show in Hamburg, NY. Cassie has also served as an official judge at the All-American Invitational Youth Dairy Cattle Judging Contest the past three years, and greatly enjoys volunteering her time to work with youth on showmanship and judging skills.

Meet the judges for the 2026 Youth Showmanship Contest at the All-American Dairy Show. 💫

Kicking us off, we have Amy Schaufelberger Hoover who resides in Lebanon, PA. Along with her husband, Brad, and their two sons, Brock and Grant, they own and operate Brook Corner Holsteins. Amy grew up on a dairy and grain farm in southern IL, Schaufine Farms, and farmed there prior to moving to PA.

Amy grew up exhibiting dairy cattle and participated in many judging contests. She graduated from the University of Illinois where she competed on the judging team while there. After college, she was employed by ABS Global in WI evaluating cattle for their young sire program. Amy has had the opportunity to judge numerous open and junior type shows and showmanship contests.

The 40th Annual All-American Junior Dairy Management Contest will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.

This contest challenges youth to put their dairy knowledge to the test in areas like:
✔ Dairy cattle selection & linear evaluation
✔ Farm business management
✔ Feed & nutrient management
✔ Pesticide safety
✔ Heat abatement & stress management
✔ Spanish for agriculture

Awards include premiums, plaques, ribbons, and a $1,000 continuing education scholarship for the top individual!

The 2026 All-American Invitational Youth Dairy Cattle Judging Contest will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.

This contest is held in conjunction with the All-American Dairy Show, offering youth an opportunity to sharpen their skills in animal evaluation, decision-making, and oral reasons.

🗓️ Entries must be submitted online through Fair Entry by September 2, 2026. Late entries accepted until September 7 with an additional fee.
