It's hard to believe we're now only ONE DAY away from the opening of Pale Erections: The Monuments Play. What began as a 30-page treatment, mostly written for my own mental processing after the events on July 4th, 2020 in Gettysburg, has grown into a full length production, filled with talented performances, phenomenal technical design and visionary direction.
Karen Land, Cyd Tokar, John Rudy, Ike Schlossberg, Ian Kress and Jeff Leinbach - THANK YOU for sharing your artistry, vision, and dedication in developing this piece. It has been a blessing working with you all this past year and I am utterly blown away by how you've elevated this story beyond what I've written. You all have truly made this production what it is and I am so honored to have collaborated with you all. Words cannot fully express my sense of honor and gratitude.
Special thanks as well to the Howard County Arts Council for being such gracious and generous hosts! It is a privilege getting perform in your space and we hope there will be opportunities for us to collaborate with your organization in the future!
Our opening performance is 7:00 PM tomorrow evening at the Howard County Arts Center in Ellicott City, MD. Multiple showings will be held from May 27th through the 29th.
