Only the best kind of wining! There were no complaints because the Armstrong Valley Winery had a great look and the ceremony site was wonderfully dry for Jenna and Christopher's wedding. The weather at the outdoor ceremony maintained a great balance. The temperature was cool enough for formal wear, but not so cold as to require coats and hats. At dinner many of the guests enjoyed wines from Armstrong Valley Winery, savored tasty meats from The Uncommon Caterer and earned Hershey kisses from bride and groom trivia. The evening had a nostalgic finish when the dance floor filled up during vintage songs like YMCA and the Hokey Pokey. Congratulations to Jenna and Christopher. May the love you cultivated on this day grow into a lifetime of great memories!

Red Land Homecoming! Whew! That was fun even after the air conditioning was turned off!

I only took 1 picture, so I posted it along with my helper (cat tax). I was getting music together, and she thought she'd help by stepping on some keys.

What more could Kevin and Lindsey ask for!? The day started with proclamations of love by the picturesque lake and ended with a definitive Penn State win on the big screen tv. In between, was a delicious meal, scrumptious desserts, a grand fire in the fire pit and lots of dancing.

Congratulations Kevin and Lindsey! We wish you and Penn State many wins in the future.

Weddings aren't supposed to be fun and games, but they can be. Before the follies could start, we had serious business. The weather was perfect for a ceremony beside the lake. Tears were flowing when the groom vowed to love his bride through whatever changes life may bring.

Later during the reception, the games began. The yard games. Weddings on Memory Lane provided plenty of space and a spectacular backdrop for the usual yard games like ladder ball and corn hole, in addition to a dart board. Yes, they had a dart board on a stand. Added to those games and a few others, energetic music at the dance floor helped the fun to flow! The dance floor was packed into the night as guests partied to their favorite requests. They begged us to stay a longer, but alas, all good things must come to an end - stupid rain!

Congratulations to Kaitlyn and Michael! Greg and I hope that the fun and games never end, and to paraphrase one of the toasts, we also hope that your wedding day was the day you were the least in love. (I forgot if that was Kelly or Sarah.)

Red Land High School Prom - what a great crowd! Between 7:15 when the dancing started and 10 pm at the end of the event there were people who never stopped dancing! It was a tremendous thrill to have more than two hundred students on the dance floor when we were done! Good luck to the seniors in whatever you do!

Kristin and Jordan are proof that time is not our enemy. While many think of time as eroding our lives, the intervening years from when Kristin and Jordan first met and their first date are considered, by them, a blessing. In their vows, they proclaimed that the time in between made them ready for now, the moment when they committed their lives to each other. Those 8 years molded and shaped their personalities to be ready to accept each other's love, and Jordan got the bonus of welcoming two beautiful women into his life - Kristin and her daughter, Karleigh. We were lucky to be at there to share the day with them! Maybe with time and patience the Capitals will be as lucky!

Their guests were lucky, too. They were lucky to join the happy couple in sharing a wonderful day. CJ being the luckiest of the guests as she was the most decorated winner in the Kiss from a DJ trivia game! Thanks to Melanie at Weddings on Memory Lane for being a gracious host. Thanks to What if catering for the delicious food. Thanks to Yasha from Delicate Portraits Photography for her positivity.

Congratulations Kristin, Jordan and Karleigh! Greg and I wish you, Mickey Mouse and Alexander Ovechkin all the best!

After months of preparation and planning, a change of venue caused more arrangements to be made. It all worked out wonderfully for Amanda and Huy. The decorations were beautiful, and the staff at the Wyndham were pleasantly accommodating. During his speech, the best man declared that the best ships are friendships. His idea was epitomized at the end of the night. As Greg and I were packed and heading out the door, chorus of show tunes was heralded from guests with smiles and laughter marking an evening that they weren't ready to end. Congratulations to Amanda and Huy, we hope your trip to Iceland and all your future trips are as memorable as your reception. (Let me know if you try the hot dogs!)

The rain stopped and the heavens cleared in time for Carrie and Dan's nuptials at the picturesque Whitetail Lodge in Marysville, PA. The tone of the day was set by the vows, which included references to love, faith, spiders and tacos. Throughout the day serious moments, like the gift of a framed speech from the bride's parents, were contrasted by the goofy happenings like the smashing of the cake. What's more, was that Pig Tails BBQ provided a delectable array of foods that complemented Aunt June's tiered cake! The sign next to the cake dutifully warned guests that the cake contained walnuts AND calories. A "nuts" disclaimer could have been applied to the entire day! In the future Carrie and Dan, let the giggles carry you through whatever storms you face. Just like on your wedding day, the rain won't last!

Red Land High School Homecoming! We brought out lights, lights and more lights. Scanners, strobes, lasers, moonflowers and up lights. We also cranked up thousands of watts of power with 4 subs and 4 top cabinets. That's what we needed for 700+ dance crazy kids. Good times! Congratulations to the seniors. We look forward to partying with you again in the spring!

At the Seaman/Martin wedding, the splendid weather was almost as beautiful as the bride when Kent and Kelsey exchanged their vows while overlooking the graceful currents of the Susquehanna river. To kick off dinner, Josh, the best man and brother of the groom, delivered in his toast an image of Kent in a loin cloth that we hope only Kelsey gets to see. After dinner, the dance floor was packed with people dancing, laughing, and singing. Thanks to Jessica and Susquehanna Club for their impeccable food and service. Best wishes to Kent and Kelsey while forging your future together!
