Volunteer Opportunity - Parks and Recreation Board
The City of Harrah is seeking interested applicants to serve on the Parks and Recreation Board.

We're looking for community members passionate about Harrah’s parks, trails, recreation programs, and activities, and who are eager to help advocate for and support these valuable community resources.

The Parks and Recreation Board provides input and recommendations to the City staff, Mayor, and City Council, helping to shape the future of parks, recreation opportunities, and community spaces throughout Harrah. If you want to make a positive impact in your community and want to help enhance the quality of life for residents, we encourage you to apply!

Please note, positions on the Parks and Recreation Board are not limited to residents within the Harrah's city limits. Anyone whom lives in the Harrah's School District OR lives within the City limits may apply.

Heritage Park Splash Pad & Restroom Closure

Due to the planned water system maintenance on Monday, July 13, the Heritage Park Splash Pad and park restrooms will be closed beginning at 1:30 p.m. and will reopen at the regular time on Tuesday, July 14th.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these necessary improvements to our water system. Thank you for your understanding!

Did you know that July is National Parks & Recreation Month?

This month we would like to remind everyone to visit our parks.

Our parks are about so much more than playgrounds and green spaces. They're where birthday parties are celebrated, neighbors become friends, kids make lifelong memories, and our community comes together.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to visit one of our parks.
