RED SAMMY – TONIGHT! Friday August 28 – 8:00-10:30.

RED SAMMY is a band from Baltimore, MD that performs a unique style of music that they describe as slow-burn Americana folk rock. The band has shared music bills with regional and national bands including Drive-By Truckers, Deer Tick, Mike Watt and the Missingmen, and others. The name, RED SAMMY, is taken from a minor character, Red Sammy Butts, in American southern gothic writer, Flannery O’Connor’s short story, “A Good Man is Hard to Find,” (1955).

Notable songwriters of influence include Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams, Alejandro Escovedo, Tom Waits, and others.
“The vocal sway of singer/songwriter, Adam Trice, is comforting as he spins out vignettes of everyman cares and concerns”—
Lonesome Highway Magazine (Dublin, Ireland)

Palmer – TONIGHT! Thursday August 27 – 8:00-10:30.

Born, raised, and educated in Wi******er, Virginia, Michael began playing guitar at the incredibly early age of 7. Most of his early skills were taught to him by his father. His musical career began in church.

After serving time in the military, Michael began playing and singing in the tri-state area about 15 years ago. He has been the front man and lead guitar player for several local bands.
Michael isn't Limited to just vocals and guitar, he can also play bass, banjo and mandolin and has been known to dabble with keyboards and drums. His newest interest is a Lap steel guitar.
While he is the self-proclaimed biggest Waylon Jennings fan, his musical influences also include The Venture's, Guns N' Roses, Steve Vai, and Gin Blossoms to name a few.

You can catch Michael as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Steel Horses. The remainder of his calendar is filled with many acoustic shows. Michael's favorite thing is to entertain and connect with the audience. He has rarely been stumped by a song request and is well known for always bringing insane energy to every show. Ever seen someone play the guitar with a drum stick or a bottle? How about behind their head? You will now .... maybe even while standing on the closest thing he can find (and that is not always the
stage).
