Thank you to everyone who knit or crocheted a chicken, stopped by Yarnability to see the chickens, placed votes, and spread the word about our Fair Week Chicken contest.

We had 73 votes cast throughout the week and every chicken received a vote!

The Building Blocks afghan pattern by Michelle Hunter is a fantastic KAL to work alongside friends or make it a self-study project and learn a variety of stitches. This pattern book is a great resource complete with video links for all techniques!

The Jefferson County fair kicks off its 73rd annual county fair today. In celebration of fair week, we have a collection of hand knit and crochet chickens! Our stitchers were so creative with their hens. Stop by this week and place a vote for your favorite one. (One vote per person.)

The top 3 chickens will be awarded with a ribbon (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places), and prize money (gift certificate to Yarnability).
