Demolition has begun!

After a thorough and long investigation, we wish we could give more of an update. We will share what we know. The Harker Heights Fire Department has determined the cause of the fire is underdetermined. The family spoke to the fire department and if the fire department cannot 100% identify the exact location where the fire started it is ruled undetermined. Our insurance fire inspectors have determined it was electrical and it started behind the snack bar counter.

Both the Harker Heights Fire Department and our insurance company have determined the fire was not caused by arson or anything our family did. As most of you know, it was a total loss. If you drive by the skating rink in the upcoming months you will see the building being demolished. Our overall goal is to rebuild the skating rink for our community so families have a safe place to come and have fun. We would like to thank all of our supporters and followers. We look forward to providing all with more updates as they occur.

This is Natalie, the owners youngest daughter. Texas Skateland appreciates all the phone calls, text messages, emails, visits, clothes, personal
hygiene stuff, donations, and food from everyone. Thank you to all who shared and continues to share our go fund me page. It has been about a week and I wanted to give all an update:

Most recent update- The Harker Heights Fire Department and our insurance company (yes, we have insurance) have been out to the skating rink to do their investigation and now they are working on the report. When we do find out the cause of the fire, we will update everyone. Now, the waiting process starts. We hope to have an answer soon so we can share it with everyone. Again, we thank you for all your support and kindness.
