A Festival tradition, back once a again.
The 33rd Annual Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians PowWow presented by Grand Traverse Band Economic Development Corporation is back and we couldn't be more honored to welcome it home once again to the National Cherry Festival.
Presented by the Grand Traverse Band Economic Development Corporation , this cherished annual gathering invites people of all nations to celebrate the culture, language, and enduring spirit of the Anishinaabek, the first people whose presence and legacy have shaped this land and this community for generations.

Grand Entry at 11:00 AM
Return to the arena for traditional dance, drumming, and singing that never fails to take your breath away.
๐ And back by beloved tradition, the crowning of the Wiigwaasmin Royalty, a one-of-a-kind pageant celebrating and uplifting Native American youth living in the ways of their ancestors.
