Want to become a studio renter? Attend our next studio orientation scheduled for Saturday, May 30th at 1:00 PM ๐Ÿ• RSVP to [email protected]

To become an Artist Renter all potential studio artists must attend orientation and undergo an interview, regardless of their background. As there are potential hazards in using the equipment and related materials, APS assesses the technical abilities of potential studio artists during orientation and an interview. Those who need to brush up on their skills are encouraged to take a class before attempting to work independently in the studio.

CONVERGENCE: Susan James & Suzy Schultz
Exhibition Dates: May 9 โ€“ June 26, 2026

โ€œConvergenceโ€ presents a dialogue between two artists who utilize the historical medium of photogravure to bridge the gap between contemporary imagery and the enduring soul of the hand-pulled print. By merging their distinct backgrounds in photography and painting, Susan James and Suzy Schultz explore the "making of something new old again," leveraging modern technology to transform photography and drawings into atmospheric, hand-printed etchings. The resulting work explores the intersection of photography and illustration in photogravure. ๐Ÿ“ธ

Have you heard about our 20 for 20 Endowment Campaign?

As the Atlanta Printmakers Studio continues to celebrates its 20th year, we are embarking on an Endowment Campaign. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by August 2026. We are thrilled to have raised over $12,000 so far!

Through these funds we can ensure organizational stability through unpredictable times, support staff and artist stipends, maintain and upgrade our printmaking facilities, offer scholarships and free community outreach programs, and MORE! Consider donating at any level to help us reach our goal. ๐Ÿ’›
