Okay first we gotta come clean. ... brother... we KNEW it was your day. We knew & we still let the week swallow us whole & didn't post day of. The grind is real & it ain't an excuse, it's just the truth. Every time we roll through Michigan this dude pulls up to the setup like clockwork, all love, no matter what. So lemme say it loud even if it's late... happy birthday Brett. Belated, heartfelt, & 100% meant. We love you, fam. 🎉

And today... it's a day. 🎂 Big happy birthday to DJ Zole, west coast brother & one of the realest to ever pull up to DOD45. Had the honor of doin' the cover art for his '1984 in 2024' joint too, so this love runs deep on the creative tip. Happy birthday to 2 of the finest to ever do it... MR DIBBS & Mopes

Somehow these 2 legends share the very same birthday & I still can't wrap my head 'round how one single day holds this much awesomeness without bucklin' under the weight. Seems unthinkable. Yet here we are, celebratin' 2 of the best to ever touch a mic, a turntable, a beat... whatever they get their hands on.

Wanna celebrate'em right? Go dig back thru the DOD45 vault & catch any one of our past episodes with either of these humans. Dibbs of course blessed us with that incredible theme music y'all hear every time we hit record, plus all the laughs from the legendary Question from Dibbs segment. FINALLY... Back on October 25th, 2025, rolled through Hannibal, Missouri and absolutely locked into the room inside Ol’ Blue Gallery for Episode 3 of Ol’ Blue Gallery LIVE!

No giant crowd. No overblown stage production. No fake hype.

Just & Phen, representing, doing what they’ve spent decades doing best: performing their craft with heart, grit, honesty, and ridiculous chemistry in an intimate space built for real connection.

This series was created for exactly this kind of moment. Artists stepping into a room full of artwork, cameras, locals, gallery staff, and genuine listeners… then letting the music breathe.

And man… Runt’s voice in this setting just owns the entire room.

If you’ve never experienced Jivin’ Scientists before, this is one hell of an introduction.

You ever seen a setup like this? Nah. You haven’t. Unless you’ve been tuned into the DOD45 Show.
We haven’t dropped a proper episode in a minute, but make no mistake, we’re still here.

Main source is on the art grind, collecting chips, so we on hold. We’ve got a Blueprint episode in the can & an Ol Blue LIVE! episode with Jivin' Scientists in the can. (Just need to edit & release those) And Resistance 45 is still out there in the ether stirring s**t up, which you should’ve already been rockin the hell out of by now.

Sage is over in Europe starting tour with Atmosphere. Damn near every DOD45 alumni guest has either just dropped an album, is about to drop one, or is actively grinding on one. We’re still plugging away at the multi-vinyl Forty Five LP.
So while no full episode has dropped in a few months, s**t is happening. We’ll be back up and running before ya know it.

In the meantime, go back and watch some past episodes. Add em to your playlists. Cop Resistance 45 on Bandcamp, share it, and get out there & support any of our past guests in whatever they’re pushing. We ride for their movements wholeheartedly.
