Hi friends,
~~I hope you can attend this event. Over the past three years, our comedy shows have been a significant fundraiser for us. We are extremely grateful to the comedians who travel long distances to perform at our theater. All we can offer them is some cash, an audience, and a cool place to perform. Yes, a cool place to perform! Many of the comedians have mentioned that our theater reminds them of a stage in North Hollywood or Chicago.
~~The significance of this event lies in the fact that we have just learned that a grant we were counting on may not materialize. (This news has given me a severe migraine.) Our main challenge is securing the funds to keep renting the space, which enables us to offer valuable performance arts experiences. We had assumed that the congratulatory letter for this grant meant that the funds were assured. Opps.
~~What we offer is valuable to the community. Our classes offer people confidence, improve their quick-thinking skills, teach them how to collaborate, and become more accepting of each other. Our classes have been beneficial for both kids and adults.
~~We hope that you will join us at this fundraising event to help support our invaluable work in the community. We are passionate about what we do and believe it makes a significant and positive impact.

JUST TWO MORE SHOWS LEFT--Family, friends! See the play I wrote. My brother Jerry wrote the music. The puppets were made by Mark Saltzman who is a noted puppet maker.
