Now Hiring: Curator (On-Site in Hancock, Michigan)
At the very center of Finnish America—Hancock, Michigan, this year’s Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture—a rare opportunity is opening.
Finlandia Foundation National is seeking a full-time, on-site Curator to help shape the future of the Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC) and the Finlandia Art Gallery. This role sits at the intersection of museum and gallery curation, offering the chance to design exhibitions and experiences that bring Finnish-American history, art, and culture to life.
This is more than a curatorial position—it’s an opportunity to:
- Build immersive, meaningful visitor experiences
- Work within the legacy of the Finlandia Art Gallery
- Expand programming across art, history, and cultural storytelling
- Contribute to the living heart of Finnish America
Hancock is not just a location—it is a gathering place, a cultural home, and a point of connection across generations and continents.
If you are a curator ready to think expansively and work hands-on in a truly special place, we invite you to apply.
Applications accepted through May 22, 2026 (or until filled). Visit FinlandiaFoundation.org/about/work-with-us to apply.
