🏁 91 Short Track Update

As most of you know, we have had soaking rainfall nearly every day for the past two-plus weeks. The track itself has taken a beating and will need some work before we’re race ready again.

The good news is that track repairs are the easy part. Once conditions allow, Justin can have the racing surface back in shape quickly.

Our biggest challenge is parking. If you’ve ever been to 91, you know that the majority of our parking is in the surrounding yards. Right now, those areas are simply too wet to safely accommodate vehicles. Even if the track were ready tomorrow, we’d still need a solid stretch of sunny, dry weather to make parking possible.

With that in mind, the 2026 season is temporarily suspended until further notice.

We will continue to monitor conditions and keep everyone updated here on our page. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support while Mother Nature does her thing.

We’ll be back when the ground is ready and the time is right. Until then, keep an eye on our page for updates. ❤️🏁

🏁 ISO: Small or Medium Kart Seat 🏁

Trying to help a racer family out! Looking for a SMALL seat (or possibly a MEDIUM) for a young girl’s kart.

Buyer is:
📍 Located in Arab, AL
🚗 Willing to drive around an hour or possibly a little farther
✅ Used is perfectly fine as long as it’s in good shape
⏰ Needed ASAP to get her kart together for next weekend

She’s around 5’4” and a little over 100 lbs for reference.

🏁 Mother Nature officially put us under caution. 🌧️

These pictures don’t even fully show how much water came through here the last few days. The creek is rolling, the yards are saturated, and parts of the track have been completely washed out. What was already shaping up to be a delayed start just turned into major repair work.

With rain in the forecast for the next 10 days, we are nowhere close to being able to park, prep, or race safely right now.

And honestly… when we do come back, 91 Short Track probably won’t look the same. There’s going to be a lot of reshaping, cleanup, and hard work ahead before karts hit the dirt again.

Right now we’re just taking it one step at a time, trusting God’s timing and whatever path He has planned for us through all of this. 🙏🏁

We’ll keep everyone updated as we figure out the next steps and assess everything once it finally dries out enough to get in there.

For now, keep the sunshine prayers coming because 91 is currently auditioning to become waterfront property. 🌊😂

🏁 It’s official… we will not be racing this Saturday, May 23rd.

Unfortunately the forecast just isn’t on our side, and honestly next week isn’t looking much better either 🌧️

We know everyone is ready to get this season rolling, and trust us… we’re ready for some dry Saturdays too! As always, we’ll continue posting updates right here on our page as decisions are made.

Life can change in the blink of an eye.

Just days ago there were birthday celebrations, smiles, photos, plans for tomorrow… and now a family is facing unimaginable heartbreak.

Please keep Kyle’s family, friends, and loved ones in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

Moments like this are such a reminder that none of us are promised tomorrow. Hug your people tighter. Say the things you’ve been meaning to say. Forgive, love, pray, and make the memories.

From unresponsive… to unimaginable heartbreak.

Former NASCAR star Kyle Busch reportedly became unresponsive while testing a racing simulator in Concord, North Carolina, one day before his passing at age 41. He was hospitalized in serious condition, though no official cause of death has been announced.

🌧️ Just a quick weather update before the messages start rolling in 😂

Forecasts can always change, but right now this week AND next week are looking pretty wet. As always, we’ll keep everyone updated right here on our page as race day gets closer. 🏁

We know this Alabama weather likes to keep everybody guessing, so for now we’re just watching the radar and hoping for the best. 🤞
