Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the storm. We know there has been significant loss and damage in our community and we are all trying to navigate what’s to come.
If you’re looking for a small way to get out tomorrow and can do so safely, connect with the community, and support local, come through Hanapēpē. We will have a very, very limited, handful of vendors who chose to come together for Mini Friday Art Night for the community.
Grab a hot meal from Kickshaws, sip on Mahalo Mocktails, grab a coffee from Pilina, stroll the shops, and support the small businesses that help make our community special.
We know there is still so much work and healing ahead. This is simply one small way to come together, if it feels right. 💛
Additionally, a huge Mahalo to Japanese Grandma’s Japanese Grandma's Cafe and Menehune Kitchen who are donating hot meals to the residents at Kaumakani, Pakala, and Makaweli Camps. If you would like to make a monetary donation to support their efforts come down and make a donation at Aloha Spice, Banana Patch Studio or Menehune Kitchen. Also if you have any fresh fruit to donate please bring those as well.
