We’ll be announcing the food vendors for the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival throughout this week, and you’re definitely going to want to make some room.

HAMTRAMCK’S PREMIER MARITIME EVENT RETURNS TO DRY LAND

On Labor Day at HIGH NOON-ISH, the Hamtramck Yacht Club proudly presents the HAMTRAMCK CANOE RACES.

No river.
No paddles.
No explanation necessary.

Just canoes on wheels, questionable athleticism, one person pushing, one person desperately reconsidering their choices, and a crowd armed with enough water balloons to violate several international maritime treaties.
