Cool cats of NekoCon! We have another judge announcement for you! Please welcome Zavage, also known as Zach (he/him), a Texas based cosplayer who has been cosplaying since 2013. Experienced in a variety of sewing and fabricating skills, Zavage has created costumes from video games, anime, and original designs, which have earned awards from numerous conventions over his years of cosplaying. Zavage is also the host of The Cosplay Crunch podcast, an interview style show dedicated to sharing the authentic cosplay and convention experience, one guest at a time. Most importantly, Zavage has fostered many lifelong friendships within the cosplay community, learning from other crafters and teaching where he can. As he continues to push himself to develop creatively and engage within the community, Zavage does his best to represent the LGBTQIA+ community within cosplay and competitive costuming. One of our staffers managed to get close enough to secure a tracker on him before making a very fast retreat.

We are now live tracking Purrzilla’s movements, but the signal keeps cutting in and out.

He is moving. And he may be getting closer.

Cool Cosplay Cats! We have another judge for you! Please welcome Jette Lupe! Jettee Lupe (she/her) is a Master-level cosplay performer and craftsman based in the DMV with over a decade of experience. Her expertise lies within Gijinka cosplay and design, as well as cosplay performance, where her creative and fearless personality shines! Jettee has won several major awards for both performance and craftsmanship. She has presented over a dozen cosplay panels and workshops, and has been a guest and judge at various events throughout the Mid-Atlantic area. Jettee also helps host and organize large fandom photoshoot meetups. As a disabled cosplayer, Jettee works in unique elements into her cosplays to enhance her cosplay adventures!
