Heritage Brass metaphorically took to the skies and supported Shaw Air Force Base in a vital AFCENT Change of Command ceremony, transitioning in Lt. Gen. Daniel Lasica. This ceremony was presided over by the Commander of Air Combat Command, Gen. Adrian Spain.

AFCENT, acting as the Air Component for CENTCOM, is responsible for all air operations, partnerships, and readiness in the Middle East and Central Asia. To read more about these vital operations, see the AFCENT Public Affairs article linked in our story!

โ€œEveryone loves music, everyone speaks and understands music.โ€

Full Spectrum represented the Heritage of America Band last month at the Barefoot Country Music Fest, aiding the 360th Recruiting Group in outreach and communication in Wildwood, NJ. Not only do opportunities like the music fest provide community engagement, but they are also crucial for the recruiting efforts across the military. As always, we are honored to share the vast and multi-capable range of what our Airmen across the force can provide to strategic communication, and the impact and message that music carries in strengthening relationships far beyond what words alone will ever be capable of.

Full Spectrum also met with Senior Airman Roman Bereguta, one of the Outstanding Airmen of the Year for 2025 and a U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School cadet-candidate, pictured above.

To learn more about this event and the augmentation provided by the bands and their capabilities, read from the publication from TSgt Michael Washburn of the Air Force Accessions Center, which you can find in the link provided in our story!

Yesterday, our brass quintet (+percussionist) performed the National Anthem at Citi Field, setting up the Mets to fly to victory against the Kansas City Royals 6-2. This came during a busy season- immediately after returning from a Concert Band tour, operations flew our members back to the North East to continue fostering connections with our friends in New York. We can't root for anyone, but if we could, we'd cheer for airpower!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ On July 4th, we recognize a day of unity, but we also honor the service of the military members who have continuously served to provide the freedom widely celebrated on Independence Day. We were welcomed by a fantastic turnout, augmenting a parade supporting the Military Order of the Purple Heart in Longmeadow, MA- spanning just over 2 miles- and joined by our sister service branches and veterans from around the country.

This parade comes after a week long tour, culminating in a final performance at the 275th anniversary celebration of the town of New Braintree, MA, where the Heritage of America Band will be holding a 3:00 PM downbeat. We hope to see you tthere, and we thank you for joining us in honoring 250 years of dedicated military service!

This week, we'll be sharing the many different ways that the Heritage of America Band has been honoring the service that has lead to 250 years of independence. Master Sergeant Craig Larimer speaks on the role of the Air Force Bands, and the powerful impact that music provides in augmenting the capabilities of the United States Military.
