Happy World Theatre Day from the Triple Threat Workshop family. 🎭 Today we celebrate the dreamers, the storytellers and the difference makers who give their time and energy to making TTW all that it is. “It takes a community to build a community” - Taylor Iman Jones (Six, Head Over Heels, Groundhog Day)

JTF : Day Three 🎭

Today we cheered on Tech Olympics, observed Music Master Classes with Matthew Lee Robinson (EQ Vocal Studio) and Rob Rokicki (Composer/Lyricist of “The Lightning Thief”), and observed multiple inspiring panels. We attended the Freddie G Award Ceremony and saw several groups showcase their material, and honored for the immense amount of thought, skill, preparation and love it takes to build these creative cohesive ensmebles! Shoutout to the student directors and choreographers.

We ended the night with Jasmine Amy Rogers’ solo show: Where I Wanna Be. Through videos and songs she went through her life- successes and learning moments that landed her the role of Betty Boop in BOOP! The Musical. She sang with the current group she came to ITF with many years ago! The entire concert was filmed for Georgia PBS and it was an honor to cry through the entire thing.

We are coming back to NJ with new ideas, new excitement and renewed sense of possibilities! Thank you JTF for having us! We can’t wait to be back!

JTF Day Two! 🎭

Today we got to see THEE BETH LEAVEL (Original Drowsy in The Chaperone, Dee Dee Allen in The Prom, Emily Hobbs in Elf!) sing Stumble Along- a moment we will remember forever!

The New Works Showcase was electrifying!!! Trolls Jr! 💕 How to Train Your Dragon Jr! 🐉 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Jr! 🍫 Once Upon a One More Time Jr! 🎤 AND The Little Mermaid KIDS! 🌊

Talk about some talented kids and creative teams!

We watched more adjudications, attended teacher workshops, Broadway panels and witnessed 7,176 kids living their best lives!

JTF Day One! 🎭

MTI is celebrating 30 years of Junior musicals and we are so excited to be a part of it all! Tonight we took the Sondheim pledge, watched industry professionals take the stage, and met the very first director of the very first JR show (Annie JR)! We got to watch our first round of adjudications and see kiddos from around the world (c’mon Australia!) do what they do best! Gearing up for another exciting day tomorrow!

Oh what fun! ❄️🎄

Throw on your most festive sweater and join us December 26th for games, food, hot cocoa, music and holiday fun! Open to all past, present and future TTW kiddos and families! No cost to attend, but you must RSVP so we have a headcount for food!

We will be collecting items for Code Blue! Canned goods, non perishables, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, hats, gloves, ans scarves! ❤️
