THIS THURSDAY August 6th!

Artist as Model

A fun, collaborative life drawing event where everyone gets the chance to be both the artist and the model.

Think of it as a low pressure social gathering with drawing. We’ll start the evening with a few warm-up sketches, then split into two groups—half will model while the other half draws. After a short break, we’ll switch, so everyone gets to experience both sides.

It’s a relaxed, welcoming way to practice figure drawing, try modeling in a supportive environment, and meet fellow artists and creative people.

Please bring your own drawing supplies.

Space is limited, so please register in advance to reserve your spot:

It’s been a super fun 8 years! Over the past 8 years we have put hundreds of free art pieces out into the world! I want to send a special and personal shout out to Mike Hitman / Keyman & Stitch for keeping things going in the months that I couldn’t. I am forever grateful for you keeping the fires burning. This Friday we are celebrating 8 years of Free Art Friday in Downtown Hammonton ! A few of us have been keeping it going and I think it is high time that we shoot a little bit of energy into this thing! Let’s face it, the world is better with more art!

If you want to gift your art, simply:

-label it “free art” with your Instagram and our Instagram.

-Take a pic of your art, and a pic of the area you left it.

-post the pics on instagram and tag us.

That’s It! You just made somebody’s day!
