Congratulations to the 13th Annual Inkslinger Playwriting Contest winner “Enter Two Murderers” by Mark Holley. We had another large contest with submissions from all over the nation. Thank you to all the theatre artist volunteer adjudicators who make this contest possible. The Inkslinger winning play receives a full production in our Mainstqge season. The next contest submission will start earlier this year in August, 2026!

We are proud to share that our production of “The Appliance Department”, directed by Ben Norman and written by Southeastern Louisiana Inkslinger Playwriting Contest 2025 winner Bella Poynton received the following honors from the American College Theatre Festival:
* Two Irene Ryan National Acting Scholarship nominees: Laura Johnson and Gabrielle Krautsdorfer
* Excellence in Design — Sound Design and Composition: Lewis Blakely
* Excellence in Playwriting Development and Student Collaboration
