Another great one I had to share 💕
Dance does not have to become a child’s life to become part of who they are.
I think that is something we sometimes forget.
Most of the children who walk through our doors are not going to become the stars of the dance world. And that is okay, because it's the truth.
Dance may simply become one of the places where they learned who they were.
Where they discovered their confidence.
Where they learned to walk into a room without their phones and lost themselves in the movement and the music.
Where they figured out that getting something wrong didn’t mean they should quit.
Where they made a friend and memories.
Where they learned to listen, work with others, accept a correction, laugh at themselves, and keep going.
Maybe they dance for two years.
Maybe ten.
Maybe they never dance again after high school.
But pieces of what happened inside that dance studio can travel with them for the rest of their lives.
Dance doesn’t have to become what they do.
Sometimes it becomes part of who they are.
How cool is that?! Have a great day and enjoy the journey--Rhee ✌💕
