I could not be more proud of these students' work at State, all while prepping for Pops Collage AND Ensemble Musicale (because we are crazy enough to do TWO spring concerts). They are incredible humans and musicians!

🎶 Thank you to everyone who came to Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr. this past week!

Our 5th and 6th grade vocal music students wowed audiences with their energy and talent in this fast-paced musical, featuring beloved songs from the classic TV show—covering math, history, grammar, and more. The show brought many audience members back to their own childhoods and had everyone tapping their toes to favorites like “Conjunction Junction” and “I’m Just a Bill.”

Bravo to all of our incredible performers! 👏

Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Vocal Performance Class on their wonderful performances of Annie, Jr. last week! Their singing, acting, and dancing brought this beloved, heartwarming story to life. Audience members left the auditorium singing and smiling.

Mrs. Israels, Mr. Connelly, and the entire Hamilton community are proud of each performer—your teamwork and the energy you brought to the stage were fantastic. Bravo!

Come and see the MTC musical this week Thursday and/or Friday! Admission is only $5, and the show is hilarious! In the show, the director has abandoned them, and the students have to figure it out on their own! See how it all goes down in "Just Another High School Musical" - 7pm on Thursday and Friday.

Today, 13 brave singers from Honors Choir and Women's Chorale EACH performed TWO pieces in different languages EXPERTLY! They all worked so hard and I am so proud! Also...EVERY ONE OF THEM qualified for State! That is incredibly difficult and they WORKED for it (while making it sound lovely and look easy). Hawkeyes sure can sing!

(In the craziness of the day, I did not get photos of everyone, but stay tuned for the rest!)

Also, a shout out to Miss Katie DeVries for accompanying for three students and my adorable assistant Caleb who helped me navigate the building and even carried pianos during cleanup.

Whew! Let's take Monday off. 😉
