The movies, one of my favorite ways to escape. When I heard a group of people were forming to start a non profit to get a movie theater back in Hamilton I knew I needed to be a part of it. Just like that, I became the go to for posters, website creation, logo creation, event coordinating and promoting, and honestly it’s everything I love for a project I love.

These are some of the logos I created for the Hamilton Community Cinema. A variety for different uses, and different meanings. Creating posters for movie pop ups, and seeing this logo on shirts of friends at our events is special.

This is what being a part of community feels like 🎥 🍿

Working with our downtown business has been honestly a dream, and I’m so grateful for the trust that has been given to me on these projects. A trust that I’ve been working hard to build since I started design, and for the last almost 6 years of living in Hamilton.

Creating something fun and professional can be very challenging when it’s being voted on by a group, but it was a challenge that I needed. In the beginning I tried to be too safe, and what they wanted was for me to be myself, and make a fun illustration representing what Rhythm & Roam is all about.

Excited for more projects like this ❤️

This project was truly so much fun for me, and it’s already opening doors for the type of work that I’ve only dreamt of getting paid for.

One of the biggest pieces of advice I’ve heard recently is don’t try to do things that are trending, be yourself. These drawings are what come out when I’m blasting movie soundtracks sitting in a busy coffee shop in my ultimate space.

Thank you Jodi for catching me at the coffee shop so we could work together and create 2026 Brewfest stuff :)

Had a lot of fun creating these balm labels for ! Thank you for trusting me to create your labels that you sell to the community.

I love the ingredient and element illustrations. Labels combine my love for an organized design file and a fluid and creative illustration.

Excited to see these in person on Mother’s Day!

Artwork I’ve been working on for the Bitterroot Brewfest the last few weeks. This has been a project I’ve been wanting to work on since we moved to this valley almost 6 years ago now. I had so much fun creating little fish on bikes, and really diving into my style. This is by far one of my favorite projects I’ve done, and I am excited to share more from Brewfest!

This year I’ve been grateful for the amount of fun projects I’ve been tasked to work on, and I look forward to seeing everyone holding these little fish guys on their pint glasses!

Thank you for trusting me with this project 🐟 🍻

Hi! I’m Amy the face behind Faces of Weird. I draw weird things in procreate, and with a pen and paper. Here is a little about me for a lot of you who do not know who the heck I am.

My favorite drink is a fresh Michelada, my favorite food is pizza forever, my favorite activities are hiking and biking, I’ve fallen asleep to Degrassi 890 million times.

I studied art and graphic design in high school then college. I worked in restaurants for 75% of my life, and the last 5 years ran my own pizza catering business. I made a lot of pizzas for a lot of people. I still created art, and did random graphic design jobs. My time was mostly spent running a catering business, and it was EXHAUSTING physically and mentally.

When my body was screaming at me to stop, I finally listened and was offered a remote graphic design job at a company I worked for right after college a million years ago.

Ive bounced around from Southern California to Northern California to Portland to living in a bus to now living in a small town in Montana where my husband, my two children (Fernie 🐶 and Bebas 🐱 live) with us.

Now I’m able to draw, do art markets, create graphics for people again, and have fun with art. I was living a double life, where food and art have been strongly competing to win my attention. Food was winning for a long time, and now I’m going to let art take the lead for a while.

Excited to share new and silly things with all of you.

Next market : Odd Pitch Brewing : February 13th in Missoula :) ❤️
