One week until Auditions for our next production THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED.

Premise: At the encouragement of her granddaughter Cassie, an aging grandmother reflects on a pivotal time in her young life growing up in rural North Dakota in the late 1950s when freedom, love, and rock and roll were seemingly on every teenager's mind and so many changes were on the horizon. The deeper she explores the memories that haunt her, the more she and Cassie uncover about an unsettling few days surrounding a tragic loss and how those events may have shaped her and her family. But can her memory be trusted? And is there enough love and forgiveness left in her heart all these years later to let the music back in?

Auditions will be held:
Thursday, June 11, 6:00-8:30pm
Sunday, June 14, 1:30-4:00pm
Friday, June 19, 6:00-8:30pm
Riverview Studios in Bordentown, NJ (address: 1 The Waterfront, Bordentown NJ 08505).

Performance dates late October/early November.

PCM Theatre announces Open Auditions for its next production THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED.

Premise: At the encouragement of her granddaughter Cassie, an aging grandmother reflects on a pivotal time in her young life growing up in rural North Dakota in the late 1950s when freedom, love, and rock and roll were seemingly on every teenager's mind and so many changes were on the horizon. 20 years! 20 YEARS!!

It doesn’t seem possible. Yet in many ways it seems very possible. There have been so many moments along the way. And last night some of the many who have been a part of PCM, or have been long time supporters, gathered to celebrate some of those moments. And make new ones.

The journey and adventure that is PCM Theatre began 20 years ago today with a little original play called "Project Mom" based on a book of essays about mothers of all kind - fun, creative, mean, practical, religious, broken, inspiring, etc.

There was no way to know then that those women and their stories would lead to 20 years of telling even more original stories. But here we are!

Thank you to everyone who played a part, on-stage or off, in those first 20 years. Here's to the future of storytelling...the PCM way!
