Some of the winners from our annual Active Members The show . Juror Dominic Chambers, was on site to deliver awards to so many happy artists. Please get down, up, or over to see this wonderful display, on view until 2 PM on September 25. All but one of the photos were shot by Active Member Thomas McCarthy. Join us for the 2026 Selected Members Exhibition in the Mile Brook Gallery at the Lyme Art Association.

The artists featured in this year’s exhibition are Ed Lisi, Christopher McLaughlin, David Ottenstein, Greg Shea, and Janet Warner.
These five artists were selected by juror Nathan Lewis, BFA, MFA, during the NHP&CC 2025 Members Exhibition. Lewis is an award-winning artist, educator, and Chairman of the Department of Art and Design at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
We invite you to join us for the opening reception and celebrate the exceptional work of these five selected artists.

This upcoming Sunday is the NHP&CC annual meeting, which will be held at the Lyric Hall facility at 827 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT.

This is a good chance to meet fellow NHP&CC members.

The business portion of the meeting begins at 2 PM, after which John Cavaliere, the founder of Lyric Hall will speak about the history of the Hall and historic frame preservation.
