Today I dropped off two oil paintings at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. I volunteered to paint and donate two pet portraits for their annual Fundraiser. Pet parents pay $45 to commission a portrait of their pet by a volunteer artist. All proceeds support the ARL. There were over 100 pet portraits commissioned this year. I received reference photos of a gorgeous gray cat (who reminded me of our Gracie) and an adorable chiweenie. Patrons can vote for their favorite pet portrait ($1 per vote, earning more money for the ARL). Portraits with the most votes will be featured on this year’s ARL coffee blend or tea blend. Stop by Alvernia University's Miller Art Gallery on Sat. June 20 (time TBA) to see all of the portraits in person.

I’m honored to share that my oil painting 'Lauterbrunnen' received Second Place Overall in the 10th Annual Keystone Juried Art Exhibition at the Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven, PA.

I was inspired to create this piece after visiting the breathtakingly beautiful village of Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. The quiet beauty of this charming village tucked into the dramatic landscape captured my imagination and compelled me to translate my emotional response into a painting.

My sincere thanks to juror Lance Rautzhan for his thoughtful remarks and for chatting with me at the reception. I’m also grateful to everyone at the Walk In Art Center for organizing another wonderful exhibition. Art Plus Gallery Hamburg Area Arts Alliance

I'm honored to have four oil paintings juried into the Keystone Fine Art Exhibit at the Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven. The exhibit runs until Sun.
