Join Mercado Art Studio at Bar Bucce for a relaxed afternoon of pottery painting! Bring a friend, plan a creative date, or come solo and make something uniquely yours.

Choose a ceramic piece and bring it to life with your own design. No experience needed—we’ll provide the materials and guidance! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Ready to make a piece from start to finish? 🏺

If you’ve tried a one-time wheel class and want to learn what happens next, join us for our 2-Day Wheel Throwing Workshop!

On day one, you’ll learn the basics of throwing and make a bowl and a cup or mug. On day two, you’ll return to trim and refine your pieces, learning how to shape the bottoms and add the finishing touches.

All materials are included. Once your pieces are ready to glaze, we’ll notify you so you can schedule a glazing session. Prefer to leave the glazing to us? Choose one color for both pieces, and we’ll glaze them for you.

Before a dish reaches the table, it begins as an idea. We worked hand in hand with the chef to give that idea a shape of its own.

From the first turn on the wheel through trimming and glazing, each step brought these bowls closer to their purpose: framing the chef’s creations and letting them shine.

We love making pottery this way, in conversation with the people who will use it. Now we can’t wait to see these bowls become part of the chef’s creative expression.

Saturdays at MAS—so many activities, conversations, tools moving, and creativity happening all at once. It was a lot, but everyone settled into their own creative zone, stayed focused, and created something amazing.

That’s the magic of working with clay: the room may be full of noise, but once your hands begin creating, everything else seems to disappear. 🤍
