Here's a sample from a recent reading at Chestnut Hill Brewing. I'll be reading and leading a generative workshop at Millville Public Library on Thursday May 28th (rescheduled from May 2st). I am working up a delightful selection of poems and a fun prompt.

There was a lot of local lore surrounding this "flying saucer" that sat along the Delaware Bay in Greenwhich, NJ. Here's a picture from before it was sold and shipped off to Ohio. Folks would swear it was an old carnival ride and even talk about riding on it as a kid. I usually let them keep their memory but it was actually the frame of a Futuro Home. It was located near or as part of a ride in Wildwood at one point but I think most people are confusing it with a Gravitron type ride. I was at a breakfast spot in Lewes, De and was reminded of it when I saw this framed article in the men's room. For New Jersey folks, the only remaining Futuro Home in our state is in Willingboro.
