We would like to thank all the playwrights that submitted their original works for our One-Act Play Festival. We were overwhelmed with submissions (over 700) making it extremely difficult to pare down for the final selections.
We are still looking for individuals interested in possibly directing a one-act. You have until June 30th to complete and submit a director interest form.

This summer Village Playbox will once again be participating in the annual Haddon Heights Fourth of July parade. We are looking for volunteers to join us to walk in the parade to hand out season flyers & candy for the kids. The parade steps off at 9 am and takes roughly an hour to complete. Calling all playwrights and directors!
Village Playbox will be presenting its annual Act 1 Scene 1 - One Act Play Festival. The festival will be presented September 17 - 19. To submit a play (20 minutes maximum length) ( https://forms.gle/RNMi1KQvVv1HK9gV9 ). The Village Playbox would like to thank everyone that came out to audition for our summer musical, Guy and Dolls!
We were overwhelmed with the turnout and talent. A cast list will be posted within the next couple days. In the meantime, purchase your tickets now for this "sure bet" of a memorable musical.

Calling all guys and dolls! Spend the summer in "New York City" with Village Playbox. Auditions: Guys and Dolls begin tonight at 7:00PM and again tomorrow. No appointments necessary, all roles open. Auditions will consist of vocal audition and cold reads. Some may be asked to stay for dance audition.
