Since we now own a fishing resort I feel like I have fish on the brain from May to September. I think I may try put some fish hats for fall since J.G. Miller was kind enough to do all the1 work and post a free download on Ravelry.

I love the free Knitty Fish Hat and all of the great modifications people have made. I made many of my own and kept adding notes to my Ravelry projects. So I decided to combine all my modifications in one pattern and post it. Here are a few things I wanted to do with this pattern.

While I have this backpack thing going I find my mind wandering to other things I can do while scrolling Pinterest idea trolling. Stumbled on this beautiful wrap by One Dog Woof that I think my mother would 'simply adoooore, darling' for her September birthday.

According to the One Dog Woof, the Adirondack Scarf can be bought as a kit from Lion Brand Yarns. Or just pick out your fave self-striping yarn locally.

Note: This pattern does cost $3.00 from her Etsy while the Lion's kit is $23.97.

Well, I started this page with the best intentions....I swear. Life just caught up. We moved 600 miles away at the end of 2017 and all of 2018 was settling in kids, setting up house, learning a new business plus a couple medical catastrophes. My daughter saw a crocheted bag she just looooved and I looked at the price - then qu**ky decided I would try to make it before I pay THAT. Time to get my hand back in the game.

I found something similar from Hopeful Honey (who, btw, has beautiful photos and well-written patterns).
